Details of the “BACHELOR OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT, TRAVEL AND TOURISM (BHMTT)” Degree Course, by The Global Open University (UGC Approved).

Objective:

The three years Bachelor’s of Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism is conducted by The Global Open University (TGOU). The degree course been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of hotel management, catering technology, applied nutrition, travel, tourism etc.

Degree course details are as follows.

1. Nature of course: Bachelor’s Degree course of Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism

2. Duration: 3 years (6 semesters of 6 months each)

3. Eligibility: 12^th pass (No minimum percentage required), any stream

• Paper II: Hotel & Tourism Economics
• Paper III: Hotel Law

Semester 5:

• Paper I: Principles of Management
• Paper II: Nutrition & Food Hygiene
• Paper III: Food Microbiology

Semester 6:

• Paper I: Facilities Planning & Management
• Paper II: MIS in Hospitality Industry
• Project

Assignments:

All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports. It should be on a topic related to each subject.

Award:

Bachelor’s of Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism (BHMTT) shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland.
